This was painted in october 2004 I wanted warmth around
me. It was starting to feel cold outside need to put on sweater.

I loved those sunflower and decided I was going to paint it was
october 2004. I started by doing the green backgrount and tried to give motion to it by simulating foliage then painted flowers
on top.

These flowers were given to me by my boyfriend. I use to sell (door
to door) gladios for my mother (she grew them in the backyard family garden) as a child.

I have been looking at chinese paintings for 3 months I really
love the impression of freedom, space due to the fact that the paint does not have to cover the whole canvas. I also like
the simpler shapes.
